Thanksgiving Reflection
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it doesn't involve any gift giving. It is simply a holiday to gather family and friends and a chance to give thanks for the blessings we have.
I know the economy is in the toilet and that this site is centered on credit and money and that many people are feeling the pinch, but if you can look beyond this temporary situation to what's really important in life, I believe you will find some comfort in knowing that life is so much more than a financial setback.
People gauge their progress with money and measure their success by how much they have accumulated. The problem with keeping score like this is your scoring model is not very good. Money comes and goes and it really is not areflection of the character of somebody. It is the same with credit scores. They change all the time and if you attach your identity to this, you will never find happiness.
Treasure the people in your life and be grateful for what you have.
Raise credit score.
